Founders Award is an annual fundraiser to benefit MoPOP's youth programs. The fundraiser features legendary performers who have made substantial contributions to the field of music. Since its inception in 2007, the gala has raised more than $2.6 million in support of vital youth development programming. In 2013, MoPOP honored legendary folk rock band, Crosby, Stills & Nash. Project Goals: Since many of our gala-goers are repeat guests, I wanted a change of pace from the modern and sleek designs of the past. Given CSN's country-rock roots and style, it was the perfect group for this design departure. Execution: I chose an organic and natural design direction, relying on a folksy color palette of brown, tan, gray, and rose gold foil. I even introduced wood as a dominant design element to further the country and rustic vibe. These choices in print affect the look and feel of the event with regards to linens, table decor, etc.
